Dr. M. Michelle Pierron earned her bachelor's degree from Wayne State University in 1975 and her M.D. from Wayne State School of Medicine in 1979. She completed her pediatric internship and residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Pierron is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has been with Lakeview Pediatrics since 1983. She is currently the chairperson of the Cornerstone Health Services Quality Assurance Committee, and has special interests in school health and pediatric telephone triage medicine. Dr. Pierron resides with her husband and three children in Grosse Pointe Woods. Lakeview Pediatrics is a group practice of eight board-certified pediatricians, providing quality health care for infants, children and young adults from birth to 21 years of age. We encourage parents to choose a primary physician for their child's well care, but understand that in the case of same-day sick visits you will be able to see an alternate physician. We pride ourselves in providing personal and friendly care while keeping abreast of the most current advances in pediatric health. We also have registered nurses who are very experienced in the health care of children and are happy to assist our parents and patients over the telephone whenever possible.
